About Us

Siddhant Singh Cardiac Awareness Foundation (SSCAF) is a not-for-profit organization in India, registered under the Companies Act, 2013 and set up in the year 2021. SSCAF is committed to raising concerns and creating awareness about Children’s cardiac health evaluation and also reducing sudden cardiac death (SCD) events in children aged from 2-16 years in India.

SSCAF is committed to creating awareness towards some simple methods/ steps by adhering to which, the death count due to sudden cardiac arrest can be brought down drastically and even a layperson can learn these methods and techniques easily and can save precious lives at the time of sudden cardiac arrest event, anywhere and anytime.

Those simple methods/ steps are mentioned as follows:

  • Raising awareness in the public domain about the critical issue of sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Teaching/ Learning methods of recognition of sudden cardiac arrest.
  • Timely initiation of CPR and trained professionals to perform CPR.
  • Availability of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) at the incident location.
  • Awareness about the importance and use of AED in the general public.
  • Following these set protocols of care in case of sudden cardiac arrest as per international standards.
  • Constant training for individuals to learn proper techniques of CPR and the use of AED.
  • Urging and achieving Public-Private partnership to have AEDs installed at every public and crowded place in India.
